Edo Election: Okpebholo don win,obaseki tell him supporters to calm down

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC don declare Monday Okpebholo, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the Edo state governorship election.

Na Farouk Adamu, INEC returning officer nia announce the results for Benin City, the Edo state capital, on Sunday.

Okpebholo wen be senator win the election with 291,667 votes to beat him closest rival, Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), when get 247,274 votes while

Olumide Akpata, candidate of the Labour Party (LP), come carry distant third with 22, 763 votes

Meanwhile, the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki don tell him party and supporters to dey calm and make dem no break the law after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declare the All Progressives Congress candidate, Senator Monday Okpebohlo as d winner of the Edo State governorship Election.
