Ndokwa LGAs join hand to attack blackout

Based on the protest wen go soon set for Ndokwa Ukwuani Nation becos of darkness for the area undermining say na dem dey host the Okpai Independent Power Plant, IPP, the Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government Area, Possible Ajede, say dem don release 80% of materials give d contractor wen dey in charge wen dey needed to reconnect the area to the national grid.

 

Ajede wen yarn this one after one coded meeting with the Deputy Governor, Monday Onyeme, on the instruction of the state Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, come talk say dem don mobilize contractors go site with d ultimatum to restore light for the area within two weeks.

 

The chaiman wen Chairmen for Ndokwa West, Obi Nzete, and Ndokwa East LGA, Vincent Osilonya represent come tell the Ndokwa Nation to remain calm say the Oborevwori led administration dey interested in improving the welfare of the people.

 

Ajede come still talk say d government no just dey look to step down electricity from the power plant but say dem still dey make plans to build turbines for areas where gas deposits and gas stations dey.

Meanwhile, Protesters from the Ndokwa Ukwuani Nation don talk say the peaceful demonstration no be against the Delta State Government but say dem dey seek to draw attention to the suffering wen Ndokwa communities dey go thru becos poor electricity despite d fact say dem dey host one major power plant.
