The senator wen dey represent Edo North, Adams Oshiomhole say President Bola Ahmed Tinubu don show concern for workers welfare through the Federal Government approval of ₦70,000 monthly transport allowance.
Oshiomhole make the statement during one television interview on Thursday, when he dey defend the Tinubu administration performance and then he come tell Nigerians to appreciate their policies.
The Federal Government approve the monthly ₦70,000 transport intervention for workers across all levels for six months, beginning from November 2026, after one meeting with the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) on October 27.
The agreement still dey provide for the payment of outstanding peculiar allowances for three equal monthly instalments beginning from November.
However, the Trade Union Congress (TUC) reject the transport allowance, say wetin workers need na permanent salary increase and not temporary relief.
