SWAT training go start today-NPF

The police authorities don partner wit the International Committee of the Red Cross and other development partners concerning the training of the new Special Weapons and Tactics Team wen dey start today Monday.

Na about 1,850 members of SWAT nai dey expected to take part for the three -week training wen dey hold for the Police Mobile Force Training School, Ila Oragun, Osun State and the PMF Training School, Ende Hills, Nasarawa State.

Wen the Force otota, DCP Frank Mba dey yarn for one statement on Sunday, he come talk day the SWAT, when replace the Special Anti-Robbery Squad wen dem dissolve last week becos of their yeye behavior go receive training for humanitarian laws, police conduct for situation of gbege, human rights- especially for the use of force and weapons, arrest and detention, plus including others.

The Inspector General of Police, IGP M.A Adamu, come talk say the new Police Tactical Team, SWAT go operate within very high professional and ethical standards, rule of law and dictates of best international policing practices.
