14 states spend N21bn take run foreign trips despite their zero FDI

Undermining say 14 state governments spend nothing less than N21.04bn on top foreign trips for the last three years, these state governments don fail to attract any form of foreign investments into the domains.

The states wen we dey talk about nia be Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Ebonyi, Edo, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa, Nasarawa, Taraba, Yobe, and Zamfara. Between 2021 and the third quarter of 2023, these states fail to attract any of the $14.85bn wen foreign investors channel enter Nigeria.

Between 2021 and 2023, Bauchi spend N3.81bn on top foreign trips without anything to show for am. Bayelsa spend N1.99bn, Benue spend N1.33bn, Borno spend N1.73bn, Cross River spend N663.16m, Ebonyi spend N1.01bn, Edo spend N1.77bn, Gombe spend N32.09m, Imo spend N541.23m, Jigawa spend N1.10bn, Nasarawa spend N541.26m, Taraba spend N2.52bn, Yobe spend N1.24bn, and Zamfara come spend N2.77bn.
